A Florida woman who hates cops called the police 11,000 times

She’s not off the hook.

A Florida woman who hates cops was arrested this week after calling police stations 11,000 times this year to blast and reprimand officers, according to a report.

Carla Jefferson, 50, relentlessly dials non-emergency lines for the St. Petersburg Police Department and Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and ‘harasses, belittles, insults, argues with’ anyone who picks up, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the Smoking Pistol.

Jefferson managed to make 512 calls to the St. Petersburg department in a single 24-hour period last month, according to the complaint.

Its annual tally equates to approximately 30 service calls each day.

The Jefferson ringer rampage accounted for 10% of all phone traffic to the St. Petersburg department’s non-emergency line for the year, cops said.

His calls usually devolve into the use of “extreme profanity” and “sexual innuendo,” the complaint notes.

Jefferson reportedly warned police personnel that she would simply call back if they hung up – and appears to be keeping that promise.

Enraged cops sent Jefferson a letter in June threatening to arrest her if she didn’t let the recipient rest.

But she ignored the missive and was hit with a misdemeanor charge before posting $400 bond.

She was arrested again this week after allegedly continuing her binge and was released on her own recognizance.

The outlet said Jefferson had a previous felony arrest and spent several years in prison.
