Add Facebook code to website to unlock and read your scary story
FACEBOOK knows a lot about you, but the truth can be shocking if you are a long-time user.
Luckily, there is a way to access the gigantic archive of data about you from Facebook.
This will allow you to examine what Facebook knows in great detail.
All you have to do is add the letters DYI after the end of the Facebook site.
So type www.facebook.com/dyi.
This will take you to a special page on Facebook called Upload Your Info, as shown on TIC Tac.
âYou can download a copy of your Facebook information at any time,â Facebook says.
“You can download a full copy or select just the types of information and date ranges you want.
âYou can choose to receive your information in an easy-to-view HTML format, or a JSON format, which might allow another service to import it more easily.
âUploading your information is a password protected process that only you will have access to.
“Once your copy is created, it will be available for download for a few days.
“If you want to view your information without downloading it, you can Access your information at any time. “
You will be able to see all the different types of data that Facebook has saved about you since you opened your account.
This includes payment history, messages, posts, and even items you put in the trash.
You will be able to see all the friends you added and even poke them to years ago.
Search history, connection location data and even voice recordings can be found in this section.
